Adept Health Medical Clinic provides medical services and administrative support to assist veterans in navigating the Compensation and Benefits journey. Our services are clinical and informational in nature.
We offer SMS messaging to facilitate your care. In accordance with TCPA and healthcare regulatory standards, we utilize two primary methods of enrollment:
Consent by Action (Prior Express Consent): By voluntarily providing your mobile phone number to Adept Health Medical Clinic during the intake process, within medical records, or via phone/email for healthcare-related purposes, you provide Prior Express Consent to receive non-marketing, informational text messages. This includes, but is not limited to, appointment reminders, care coordination, and updates regarding your compensation and benefits journey.
Web Form (Express Written Consent): Patients may also opt-in via our website at https://adept-health.com/about-us/contact-us/. On this form, patients are provided the following disclosure:
“By checking the box below, you agree to receive text messages from Adept Health Medical Clinic regarding appointment reminders, care updates, and benefits navigation. Message frequency varies and will not exceed 3-5 messages a day. Message & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help. Reply STOP to opt out. SMS SHARING DISCLOSURE: No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes at any time.”
One-to-One Consent: Your consent is strictly specific to Adept Health Medical Clinic.
No Third-Party Sharing: In compliance with 2025 standards, no mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes at any time. Your data is used solely to facilitate your clinical care and benefit navigation.
Frequency: Message frequency is based on your specific clinical needs but will not exceed 3–5 messages per day.
Rates: Standard message and data rates may apply. Adept Health Medical Clinic is not responsible for any carrier charges incurred.
You may revoke your consent at any time:
To Stop: Reply “STOP” to any text message to opt out immediately.

DNC Registry: We respect the National Do Not Call Registry. By providing your number for medical care, you grant us permission to communicate with you regarding your health and benefits notwithstanding DNC registration.
NOT FOR EMERGENCIES: SMS is not for urgent medical issues. Call 911 for emergencies.
Privacy Awareness: While we maintain HIPAA-compliant internal protocols, SMS is not an end-to-end encrypted medium. By providing your number, you acknowledge and accept the risks associated with receiving Protected Health Information (PHI) via your mobile carrier’s network.
You agree to provide accurate contact information and notify Adept Health Medical Clinic immediately if you change, forfeit, or disconnect the mobile number provided.
Adept Health Medical Clinic maintains detailed logs of all consent records, including the date, time, and method (e.g., intake form, web form, or verbal provision) to ensure compliance with TCPA 2025 audit requirements.
