Welcome to Adept Health. By accessing our website, using our services, or enrolling in our SMS messaging program, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Services Provided

Adept Health provides medical clinic services and administrative support to assist veterans in navigating the Compensation and Benefits journey. Our services are informational and clinical in nature and do not constitute legal advice.

2. SMS Messaging Program (TCPA 2025 Compliant)

By providing your mobile number and opting in, you agree to receive recurring text messages from Adept Health.

  • One-to-One Consent: Per 2025 FCC rulings, your consent is specific to Adept Health and will not be shared with, sold to, or used by third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.

  • Message Frequency: You will receive no more than 3–5 messages per day, unless triggered by an urgent medical notification or specific request.

  • Standard Rates: Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan. Adept Health is not responsible for these charges.

  • Voluntary Participation: Consent is voluntary. Receiving text messages is not a condition of receiving medical treatment or purchasing any services.

3. Opt-Out and Support

You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time:

  • To Stop: Reply “STOP” to any text message to opt out immediately.
  • For Help: Reply “HELP” for support instructions or contact us at [Support Email].
  • DNC Registry: We respect the National Do Not Call Registry. Opting into our SMS program provides express written consent to bypass DNC restrictions for the purpose of communicating about your care and benefits.

4. Medical & Emergency Disclaimer

  • NOT FOR EMERGENCIES: Our SMS program and website communications are for informational, administrative, and non-urgent clinical purposes. Do not use SMS or this website for medical emergencies. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room immediately.
  • No Doctor-Patient Relationship via SMS: While we protect your PHI, the receipt of an SMS does not, by itself, establish a physician-patient relationship.

5. Patient Responsibilities & PHI

You are responsible for providing accurate contact information. Because SMS messages may contain sensitive updates regarding your compensation and benefits journey:

  • You agree to notify us immediately if you change or disconnect your mobile number.
  • You acknowledge that while our systems are secure, SMS is not an end-to-end encrypted communication. By opting in, you accept the inherent risks of receiving PHI via your mobile carrier’s network.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use our messaging platform to send any harassing, defamatory, or illegal content.
  • Attempt to bypass any security measures or “spam” our administrative lines.
  • Impersonate any other person or entity when providing your contact information.

7. Limitation of Liability

Adept Health and its service providers (including mobile carriers) are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to the effective transmission of your network operator. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Adept Health is not liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising from your use of the SMS program or website.

8. Record-Keeping & Compliance

In accordance with TCPA 2025 requirements, we maintain detailed logs of all opt-ins and opt-outs, including timestamps and methods of consent. These records serve as definitive proof of your communication preferences.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions to reflect changes in law (such as the Campaign Registry or HIPAA) or clinic operations. Significant changes will be communicated via SMS or posted prominently on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
